Where can a single mom find money to buy a business?

My boss just approached me this morning about buying his bakery. I’ve talked about it in the past, but never researched things, as I thought it was just a pipe dream. I need a few resources; maybe for single moms, government loans or grants and places I can go where I would qualify easier than jsut going to a bank. Please help! I can’t let this one get by!
